I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a positive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students, staff, and families.

I have been a dedicated educator for 23 years. The first 14 years of my career were spent at Jamestown Elementary and Arrowpoint Elementary as a classroom teacher servicing 6th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st grades. Then, I had the privilege of becoming a Teacher Mentor to two 1st year teachers. This role is what sparked my passion for developing and coaching teachers, which led to the my tenure as an Instructional Specialist at Grannemann Elementary School. In 2019, I became an Assistant Principal at Discovery Elementary in the Orchard Farm School District. I've learned as a leader that all members of the school community should feel valued, appreciated, recognized, and developed.

I am thrilled to bring my skills as an instructional leader back to HSD. It is an extraordinary opportunity and responsibility to continue the West Middle School customs and values, and also an opportunity to create new traditions and develop lasting relationships. I am looking forward to uniting my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to support our students. Their social, emotional, and academic needs are put first each and every day.

Being an educator is just part of who I am. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike, our 3 daughters Aleia, Charlotte, and Millie and our 19 chickens.
